ThomasOKELLThe funeral has taken place of Thomas (Tom) Okell of Dutton (formally Aston) who died on 1st April, aged 84. Thomas was born at Woodside Farm, Dutton on 16th June 1930 and was the youngest of three. H was brought up in Dutton and attended Dutton Primary School and Frodsham Secondary. On January 30th 1960 he married Ann Hoare at Daresbury Church and they settled at Birdswood Farm, Aston, later they moved to Newbrook Farm Bungalow, Dutton. Tom worked as a dairy farmer, farming was his life and he was a member of the Western Holstein Club. Tom is survived by his wife Ann, daughter Jane, son John, son-in-law Peter, daughter-in-law Louise and grandchildren Paul, Thomas and Edward. The family wish to say a sincere thank you to all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness and sympathy received in their sad loss. We were overwhelmed and comforted by the number of people attending church to pay their respects to Tom. Thank you for the generous donations given in Tom's memory which will benefit the Stroke Association and the British Lung Foundation. The service was held at St Peter's Church, Aston followed by cremation at Walton Lea Crematorium and interment at St Michael and All Angels, Little Leigh conducted by Joan Sears.
